Rama: Adaptability key for Albania’s garment industry amid EU integration process

Prime Minister Edi Rama highlights the importance of transformation and adaptability for Albania’s fason industry during the presentation of the national program preparing businesses for European Union integration.

Rama presents leather-processing entrepreneur Etleva Laro’s company as an example of a business that successfully adapted to new economic challenges. He says that fason companies now face two paths: continuing to rely on traditional support mechanisms or investing in innovation and transformation.

He argues that businesses must move beyond dependence on government assistance and prepare for the challenges of competing in the European single market.

Meanwhile, Rama praises companies that choose modernization, renewal, and adaptation, saying they have achieved stronger results through clear vision and determination.

He concludes that businesses can succeed by embracing change, because the future requires continuous transformation and new approaches.
