Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the National Territorial Council has approved the first permit under the Mountains Package for the Hasani family from Theth.
In a post on Facebook, Rama said that the Hasani family has decided to invest its savings in its ancestral land and return to live and invest in Albania.
“Today, at the meeting of the National Territorial Council, the first permit under the Mountains Package was approved for the Hasani family from Theth, which has decided to invest its savings in its ancestral land in its hometown and return to Albania,” the prime minister wrote.
According to Rama, the Mountains Package gives heirs the opportunity, now also supported by law, to reconstruct their ancestors’ old homes or develop economic activities such as agritourism, agricultural and livestock production, as well as agricultural processing on inherited properties.
