Rama introduces public sector employment portal: A new window for young people

Prime Minister Edi Rama took part this Tuesday in an event where available job positions in the public sector were presented through the portal puna.gov.al.

According to Rama, every young person, recent graduate, or professional seeking a new opportunity now has an easier way to get informed and apply for jobs in public institutions through the National Employment and Skills Portal.

“I am pleased that we are opening a new window for all those who wish to contribute to the public sector,” he said.

During the event, the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, Adea Pirdeni, emphasized that the aim of this mechanism is to ensure the human capacities needed to face key challenges, including the process of integration into the European Union.

Pirdeni stated that this initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public administration, adding that there are currently around 20–21 candidates for each job position, and that the average age in the administration is 40, among the youngest in the region.
