Prime Minister Edi Rama met French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris on Monday. Rama thanked Macron for the warm welcome and said he was pleased with the meeting.
During a working lunch, the two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Albania and France. They also exchanged views on Albania’s European integration process, regional developments, and the upcoming NATO Summit in Ankara.
Moreover, the visit highlighted the strong political dialogue between the two countries. Albania highly values France’s support for the Western Balkans and its commitment to the region’s European future.
The meeting continued a series of regular contacts between Rama and Macron. As a result, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and advancing Albania’s path toward European Union membership.
