Rama Orders Rebuilding of Burned Tirana Building by Constructor

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacts to the fire in a residential building in Tirana. He speaks on platform X.  First, he says the burned building will be fully rebuilt by the constructor. He confirms this happens regardless of the cause of the fire.

He states that the fire is not linked to the building’s construction. Authorities confirm preliminary findings. Moreover, Rama says the state cannot leave affected families alone. He stresses protection for damaged property owners.

However, he says taxpayers should not pay for damages covered by insurance. He calls for stronger insurance coverage for homes. Therefore, he highlights the importance of mandatory home insurance. He says it is necessary against natural disasters and accidents.

Finally, he reassures affected families. He wishes them health and safety. He thanks firefighters and police for saving lives.
