Rama Presents the “Aleksandër Moisiu” Campus Project in Durrës: It Is a Result of the Student Protests’ Demands

Prime Minister Edi Rama was in Durrës on Tuesday to attend the presentation of the final proposals from the International Competition for the New “Aleksandër Moisiu” University Campus. During his remarks, Rama said the project is a direct outcome of the demands raised during the 2018 student protests.

“This is a result of the 2018 student protests. We listened very carefully to what was being requested and separated everything that had no connection with the future and with our capabilities. Based on the Pact for the University, we built a process that brought many positive innovations. It delivered much better conditions in student dormitories and universities, as well as greater support for higher education. We are aware that this process must go one step further,” Rama said, among other remarks.
