Rama shares weekly photo album: from Diaspora Summit to Spain and Italy visits

Prime Minister Edi Rama released a weekly photo album showing key engagements.

He inspected Vlorë and reviewed preparations for the tourist season. Local authorities carried out work on the ground under his supervision. He visited the “Lungomare 4” project and pushed improvements in public spaces. The project targets high-traffic tourist areas.

He met tourism operators in Vlorë. They discussed service quality and tourism growth. He promoted Vlorë as a global destination. He attended the 4th Diaspora Summit in Tirana. The event took place at the Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Organizers awarded diaspora figures at the “Golden Eagles” ceremony. They recognized achievements in business, science, art, and community work. A former New York mayor appeared on stage wearing a traditional Albanian hat and delivered a speech.

Rama visited Rome and Barcelona from 16–18 April. He met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome. He joined the “In Defence of Democracy” summit in Barcelona. Leaders discussed institutions, multilateralism, and digital misinformation.

He visited the Catalan Chamber of Commerce and strengthened economic ties. He hosted the “FLASIM” podcast with Hollywood composer Aldo Shllaku and highlighted diaspora success stories.
