Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that The Albanian Files will soon appear in the Adrion bookstore in Tirana. He said the book has “entered history” as the first publication treated as criminal evidence after the fall of communism.
Rama made the comments while reacting to its submission to the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).A group of citizens protesting a planned investment in Zvërnec submitted the book to SPAK.
The protesters described the book as a record of alleged wrongdoing by the prime minister. They claimed it lists 523 projects that bypassed public consultation.
