In a video message from Luxembourg on Tuesday, Rama spoke alongside Albania’s negotiating team following the 10th Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference, which provisionally closed Chapter 20 on enterprise and industrial policy.

“We will not stop until we bring Albania’s flag here and place it at the forefront,” Rama said, describing it as Europe’s most beautiful flag. He added that those who support Albania’s accession help speed up the process, while those who oppose it will eventually celebrate when the flag takes its place among EU flags.

With the latest milestone, Albania has provisionally closed four negotiating chapters. The country aims to conclude all accession negotiations by the end of 2027.

Chapter 20 covers enterprise development, industrial policy, business support and innovation. It also aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Albania’s economy as the country moves closer to EU membership.
