Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage on social media showing hundreds of people enjoying the sandy beach, crystal-clear waters, and water sports at Rana e Hedhun.

Rana e Hedhun is a protected beach that continues to attract visitors with its striking landscape. Its sand dunes appear to climb up the mountainside, creating a rare natural phenomenon.

The beach lies just 2.5 kilometers from the town of Shëngjin in Lezhë Municipality. Experts recognize it as a rare geomonument.

Rana e Hedhun is a protected natural monument where golden sand dunes meet the sea at the foot of Mount Renci. The beach stretches about 600 meters long and 100 meters wide. It also holds important geomorphological, scientific, educational, and tourism value.

The scenery stands out along the Adriatic coast. Gray sand meets the deep blue sea, while rocky slopes descend from the mountain straight into the water.
