The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, has reacted to the latest massive Russian attacks on Ukraine.
Through a post on X, Hoxha expressed solidarity with the victims, the injured, and their families, and described the attacks as unacceptable and a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
“We strongly condemn the latest wave of Russia’s attacks against #Ukraine, during which drones and missiles struck civilian areas, causing the tragic loss of innocent lives, including children.
We express our solidarity with the victims, the injured, and their families, who continue to face the devastating human consequences of this unjustified war.
These repeated and ongoing indiscriminate attacks against civilians and critical infrastructure are unacceptable and constitute a serious violation of international humanitarian law. They must end immediately.
Albania reaffirms its unwavering support for Ukraine and its people. Sustained international support for Ukraine, increased pressure on Russia to end these attacks, and ensuring full accountability for all violations of international law remain essential for protecting civilians and preserving peace and security in Europe,” Hoxha stated.
