Salianji: Ready to go to jail

The Democratic MP, Ervin Salianji held the last conference with journalists at the headquarters of the Democratic Party, awaiting his arrest, after the Appeal upheld the sentence of 1 year in prison, for the “Babale” case.

Salianji stated that since Thursday, September 26, when Apeli received the decision, he communicated with the leaders of the prosecution and the police and expressed his willingness to surrender. Among other things, Salianji said that he is waiting for the letter to arrive, in order for his arrest.

“I have communicated since yesterday with the leaders of the prosecution and the police, I am ready, what do you need? I enter those I face. Regarding the decision whether it will be here, we are discussing with the Parliamentary Group.
We will listen to colleagues, then we will make the decision. I see the request in principle, since it is a new precedent, there should have been a meeting of the Council of Mandates.
This was the issue, we have organized requests, we have addressed the Assembly, the Assembly reacts with resources. My attitude does not change, I will face it I definitely told them, as a rule, the letter should come, but I had communication.
We will solve this problem today, don’t worry. We will discuss this issue”, he emphasized.
