Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Andis Salla said IPARD funds will be available to farmers within this year. He made the statement in Parliament.
He responded to LSI MP Tedi Blushi, who raised concerns about the IPARD funds. Salla said the process is currently under investigation. He assured that Albania has completed all required procedures.
He stated that €146 million will return to support farmers. The funds aim to increase investment and further develop the agricultural sector.
He added that farmers also receive support through national schemes. The government is investing in irrigation and drainage. He said these remain priorities for agriculture.
