Saranda municipality upgrades road infrastructure ahead of 2026 tourist season

TIRANA, April 8 – Saranda municipality has started work to address issues identified during the previous tourist season. A dedicated task force is now monitoring conditions on the ground. At the same time, officials have included all key concerns in the 2026 budget.

As a result, current investments focus on road infrastructure. Crews are improving road quality and easing traffic flow. These works aim to support both residents and visitors. In particular, authorities target high-traffic routes during the tourist season.

Meanwhile, work continues across several key areas of the town. Each intervention seeks to improve mobility and reduce congestion. Officials say these measures will create better conditions during peak months.
