Sejko and Indian Ambassador Discuss Economic and Financial Cooperation

Governor of the Bank of Albania Gent Sejko held an official meeting today with India’s first ambassador to Albania, Ravindra Prasad Jaiswal.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen economic and financial cooperation between Albania and India.

Talks also focused on economic developments and the technological transformation of the banking sector.

Sejko highlighted Albania’s positive economic performance. He said the country continues to maintain stable growth.

He added that the Albanian banking system remains stable, well-capitalized and profitable.

Ambassador Jaiswal praised the role of the Bank of Albania in maintaining financial stability.

He also expressed interest in deepening economic and institutional relations between the two countries.

Both sides described the meeting as an important step toward stronger cooperation between Albania and India, especially in economic and technological fields.
