Sheshi “Italia” Transforms into Stage for Morricone Tribute Night

Sheshi “Italia” in Tirana turned into a large stage of artistic emotion as the music of Ennio Morricone filled the city during a special Europe Day concert.

First, the event titled “Morricone Conducts Morricone” brought conductor Andrea Morricone on stage, who led the RTSH Symphony Orchestra in performing some of his father’s most iconic film scores.

Then, the audience experienced a powerful atmosphere as world-renowned soloists joined the performance, adding depth and emotion to the show.

Meanwhile, the artistic direction shaped a carefully designed tribute that blended symphonic music with cinematic history.

In addition, the concert highlighted the strong cultural cooperation between Albanian and Italian institutions, including embassies and cultural institutes.

Moreover, the program featured some of Morricone’s most famous works, known worldwide for films such as Cinema Paradiso, The Untouchables, and The Mission.

Finally, the evening closed as a celebration of Morricone’s legacy, reminding the audience of his lasting influence on global film music and his timeless artistic impact.
