Si Viaggia: Albania combines sea and mountains in June travel guide

TIRANA, June 4 – Italian media outlet “Si Viaggia” says June marks an ideal period for choosing travel destinations. It describes the month as the start of the summer season. It links the period to coastal and mountain travel choices.

In addition, the publication says travel experts suggest several destinations for June. It notes that the selection includes both seaside and mountain locations. Meanwhile, it says travellers base their choices on different factors. Some prefer classic Mediterranean destinations. Others choose less crowded areas with hiking and nature routes.

At the same time, “Si Viaggia” says summer travel brings a search for rest after long working periods. It adds that travellers move between popular tourist areas and quieter regions. Later, it notes that the destinations are reachable from major Italian airports. It also mentions general travel cost comparisons.

Meanwhile, the outlet lists nine destinations for beach and mountain holidays. It includes Albania, Croatia, Provence in France, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, Corsica, Peru, Sicily in Italy and Slovenia. In addition, it highlights Albania as a destination with idyllic beaches. It says Albanian beaches compare to those in Greece. However, it notes Albania remains an alternative despite rising popularity.

Later, it says travellers arriving at Tirana International Airport can rent a car. It adds that they can explore the coastline and mountain areas. At the same time, it mentions trekking routes during the season. Finally, it highlights the “Kala Festival” [Castle Fest] on the Albanian Riviera as part of the summer cultural offer.
