Spring weather draws visitors to Durrës coastline

TIRANA, April 27 – Warm spring weather has increased visitor numbers along the coastline of Durrës, with both domestic and foreign tourists choosing the seaside for leisure.

The Prime Minister shared images from recreational areas on the Durrës beaches, where many citizens have spent time during recent warm days. The coastline has attracted higher activity across its seaside spaces.

Durrës offers a wide coastal stretch with sandy and partly rocky beaches. Hotels and agritourism structures provide services for visitors throughout the area. The city also holds significant cultural heritage. Sites include the Roman amphitheatre, the city walls, the Byzantine market square, the Venetian tower, Roman thermal baths, the Basilica of Arapaj, Skanderbeg’s fortress at Cape of Rodon and Ishëm Castle.
