Summer Evenings Light Up Velipoja

Velipoja continues to welcome visitors throughout the summer season, offering long sandy beaches, a lively atmosphere, and relaxing seaside holidays.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images from Velipoja on social media, showcasing the vibrant evening atmosphere as lights, restaurants, and seaside promenades fill with holidaymakers.

Stretching for more than 14 kilometres, Velipoja Beach remains one of Albania’s most popular coastal destinations. Both domestic and international tourists continue to visit the area throughout the peak summer season.

In recent years, Velipoja has expanded its tourism infrastructure with new hotels and luxury accommodation. As a result, the destination now combines modern facilities with its natural coastline, making it one of northern Albania’s favourite summer resorts.
