Thousands of tourists are exploring Tirana this July, filling the city’s main squares, streets and landmarks with energy and activity.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images of visitors walking along “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, where they captured photos of key attractions and discovered more about Albanian culture.
Tourists continue to choose Tirana as a leading Mediterranean destination, bringing visitors from the region, Europe and other parts of the world.
The capital offers diverse experiences, including cultural, historical, architectural and culinary tourism. Visitors explore the city’s heritage sites, traditional cuisine and unique urban atmosphere.
In addition, tourists are discovering mountain and adventure tourism opportunities in areas surrounding Tirana.
Skanderbeg Square, the Pyramid of Tirana, Bunk’Art and Et’hem Bey Mosque remain among the city’s most popular attractions.
Visitors also explore the Tirana Mosaic, the Clock Tower, Kaplan Pasha’s Tomb, Tirana Castle, the Tabak Bridge, Petrela Castle, the National Historical Museum and the “House of Leaves” Museum.
Tourist groups frequently visit Skanderbeg Square, Tirana Castle and the New Bazaar, highlighting the capital’s growing reputation as a cultural and urban tourism hub.
