The Transparency Board held its second meeting today and set new prices for fuel products. The Board set the retail price of diesel at no more than 213 ALL per litre. The wholesale price will be no more than 201 ALL per litre. For petrol, the retail price will be no more than 193 ALL per litre. The wholesale price will be no more than 181 ALL per litre.
The new prices take effect today, September 22, at 12:00. They will remain valid until the Board holds its next meeting and sets new prices. Meanwhile, the Board called on wholesale and retail operators to comply with the decision. Authorities will suspend the activity of operators found in violation.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy said they remain committed to protecting Albanian consumers and ensuring fair competition in the market.
