The United States Embassy in Tirana has issued a warning notice, informing that groups linked to Iran may target entities associated with the United States, as well as members of the Iranian opposition located in Albania.
According to the embassy, these groups may also target public and common locations, including tourist sites, shopping centers, hotels, clubs, and restaurants.
American citizens currently in Albania are encouraged to exercise increased vigilance and take precautionary measures for their personal safety.
The embassy emphasizes the importance of reporting any suspicious activity to local authorities and its diplomatic contacts.
