U.S. Supports Albanian Civil Aviation with Training and Equipment

Connectivity, operational safety, and aviation security are the three main pillars of cooperation between the Transportation Security Administration and the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority.

The Albanian Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) announced that the donation of a testing equipment set by the TSA, combined with specialized training for experts from the AAC, Tirana International Airport, Albcontrol, and the Albanian State Police, demonstrates the close cooperation between institutions and their shared commitment to maintaining the highest aviation security standards for passengers.

The Albanian authorities expressed their appreciation to the TSA and the Embassy of the United States in Albania for their continued support and partnership.

In its statement, the AAC also thanked the staff of the Civil Aviation Authority, Tirana International Airport, Albcontrol, and the State Police for their professionalism, dedication, and cooperation in ensuring a safer, more reliable aviation system that complies with international best practices.

According to the AAC, the initiative aims to strengthen Albania’s civil aviation security standards through the donation of testing equipment and the delivery of specialized training programs for aviation professionals, further enhancing air transport safety across the country.
