TIRANA, August 24 – The Albanian Investment Development Agency has announced its 7th call for proposals for small projects under Specific Objective 4.6 of the Greece–Albania Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme. The call offers new funding opportunities for projects focused on development and cross-border cooperation.
The total fund amounts to 2 million euros. Individual projects can receive between 120,000 and 400,000 euros. The European Union will cover 80% of the financing, while national funding will cover the remaining 20%. Projects can focus on sustainable and cultural tourism, cultural and natural heritage, digitalisation, social innovation and regional development.
Meanwhile, the agency is informing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and other interested parties about the opportunities through its Access to Finance portal. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and establish partnerships or initiatives involving cross-border cooperation between Albania and Greece.
The application deadline is September 30, 2026. More information and application conditions are available through the Access to Finance portal.
Through the call, the Albanian Investment Development Agency aims to facilitate access to European Union financial instruments and support projects that contribute to economic, tourism and social development in cross-border areas.
