TIRANA, August 11 – Shkodër will host the second edition of the Youth Wave Festival on August 12. The event marks International Youth Day and will take place in front of the “Republika” Cinema.
Shkodër Municipality said the festival will bring temporary parking and traffic restrictions in the area. Parking in the square in front of the Republic Cinema will close from 06:00 on August 12 until 01:00 on August 13. Traffic on Skanderbeg Boulevard will face restrictions from 18:00 on August 12 until 01:00 on August 13.
The municipality has urged drivers to avoid parking and travelling through the affected areas during these hours. It also called on drivers to follow traffic signs and instructions from authorities.
The Youth Wave Festival will take place for the second consecutive year. Organisers held the first edition last summer in the Shiroka lakeside area. This year, the festival moves to the city centre to involve more young people.
