Agriculture minister highlights Dardha Bio’s growth in poultry sector

Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Andis Salla has highlighted the growth of Dardha Bio as an example of investment in Albania’s poultry sector. The company started with one production facility in 2002.

Dardha Bio now operates 13 facilities with a capacity of around 1.5 million birds. The company also has a slaughterhouse that can process 1,000 birds per hour.

Meanwhile, the business employs around 35 people. Its activities cover poultry production, breeding and processing.

Salla said Dardha Bio’s expansion shows the potential of private investment to increase agricultural production and processing capacity. He also highlighted its contribution to strengthening the poultry sector and creating employment opportunities in Albania’s agri-food industry.
