German electronic music artist Sam Shure, Albanian artists bring Berlin energy to Tirana

German Cultural Week 2026 brought music, contemporary art, exhibitions, traditions and German gastronomy to Tirana from October 2 to 6.

The five-day programme offered audiences in the Albanian capital opportunities to experience different aspects of German culture. The activities also created spaces for cultural exchange between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Blendi Gonxhja said the programme culminated in a Park Party at Europa Park. German electronic music artist Sam Shure and Albanian artists brought the energy of Berlin to the heart of Tirana. The event turned the park into an open-air dance floor and brought together two artistic scenes.

Gonxhja said the celebration of music and urban culture demonstrated how culture can build bridges between countries and people.
