Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has reacted to Serbia’s elections through a Facebook post, describing the results as a historic achievement for Albanians in the Preševo Valley.
Berisha said that after uniting under a single coalition, Albanian parties secured two parliamentary seats, with a third seat still possible.
“A historic achievement for Albanians in the Preševo Valley! Friends, on behalf of the Democratic Party, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Albanians of the Preševo Valley on their historic result in yesterday’s parliamentary elections in the Republic of Serbia. After uniting in a single coalition, they won two seats, with a third also possible. Congratulations!” Berisha wrote.
