Medical Students Begin Gathering for Protest Outside Ministry of Education

Medical students have begun gathering again this Tuesday and have continued their march toward the Ministry of Education.

Today’s protest follows an announcement made by the students yesterday, stating that they would gather outside the Ministry of Education, with their non-negotiable demand remaining the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Meanwhile, this morning, as on several previous occasions, Prime Minister Rama reiterated his invitation for dialogue, which students have so far rejected.

Today’s protest marks its 15th day, with tensions, clashes, violence, and police detentions reported throughout the demonstrations.

The student protests have also drawn support from figures in the arts and cultural sectors, university lecturers, and numerous citizens who have joined in solidarity.
