Korça attracts autumn tourists as New Year bookings begin

Korça continues to welcome groups of foreign tourists in autumn, with its traditions, local cuisine and hospitality drawing visitors from Albania and abroad. Tourists are visiting the city’s main attractions and exploring its streets.

Tour operator Eriketa Koçollari said foreign groups from around the world continued to visit the city in late October. She added that autumn was a preferred season for older tourists travelling to Korça, the wider region, the Balkans and Europe.

Meanwhile, accommodation providers have begun receiving bookings for the end-of-year holidays. Interest is also emerging for Albania’s November 28 and 29 holidays, although Christmas and New Year remain the main focus for Korça.

Tour operators and hotel businesses expect visitor numbers to increase as the festive season approaches. The city traditionally attracts visitors from across Albania and abroad during this period, drawn by its decorations, celebrations and holiday atmosphere.
