Heavy traffic at the Kapshtica border crossing point has become a daily reality for Albanians and emigrants wishing to travel from Albania to Greece.
According to travelers, they are forced every day to wait for more than two hours in the neutral zone because Greek border police are operating with reduced checkpoints, while the new system applied for Schengen countries is also slowing down the crossing process.
These images come from today at the Kapshtica border crossing point, where the line of vehicles stretches all the way to the Albanian customs area, while the Greek side is operating with only one checkpoint.
There have been several consecutive meetings regarding this issue, but there is still no solution.
Until then, Albanian emigrants living in Greece, as well as Albanians who frequently travel to Greece to buy food supplies, must continue waiting for more than two hours at the border.
