Attack on the Residential Complex of the Albanian Ambassador in Ukraine, EU Delegation in Tirana Reacts

The Delegation of the European Union in Tirana has reacted following the drone and missile attack launched by Russia on Kyiv, which also struck the residential complex where the Albanian ambassador to Ukraine lives.

Through a post on social media, the EU strongly condemned the attack, emphasizing that the life of Albania’s ambassador was put at risk.

The European Union Delegation described the attack as “irresponsible” and yet another reminder of the brutality of Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.

“The Delegation of the European Union strongly condemns the overnight drone and missile attack carried out by Russia against Kyiv, which caused several casualties and also struck the residence of the Ambassador of Albania to Ukraine, endangering his life.

This irresponsible attack once again reminds us of the brutality of Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.

We stand in solidarity with Ukraine and Albania,” the statement said.
