Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today new views from Lurë–Mali i Dejës National Park. He described the area as one of Albania’s most valuable natural treasures and a destination with strong potential for sustainable tourism.
In a social media post, Rama published images from the park. He highlighted the rare beauty of this protected area in northern Albania.
“One of Albania’s most beautiful natural treasures, from glacial lakes to forests and rare landscapes,” Rama wrote.
The park lies in one of the country’s richest biodiversity areas. It remains one of Albania’s most important natural heritage sites.
The park is known for Lura’s glacial lakes, dense beech and pine forests, and alpine terrain. It attracts Albanian and foreign visitors every year, especially during the tourist season.
For years, the area has stood out as one of Albania’s most unique nature tourism destinations. Infrastructure investments and ongoing promotion aim to turn it into a key destination for mountain tourism and outdoor adventure.
