Spring Festival rehearsals intensify with RTSH Orchestra participation

TIRANA, May 26 – Rehearsals and preparations continue ahead of the Spring Festival at Albanian Radio and Television. Twenty participating artists are rehearsing with the Albanian Radio and Television orchestra and the festival band. Stage work advances.

Meanwhile, preparation work continues as artists move closer to their performances. They share emotions while discussing stage details. They also refine the songs for the festival.

Arsi Bako said the return to the festival brings added responsibility. She said she feels emotional and hopes the audience receives the song well. Alban Cuku said he feels privileged to take part in his first stage performance. He said his song is titled “Do jepem i tërë” (I will give my all) and added he intends to give his full performance on stage. Kejsi Jazxhi said she is excited about the return of the festival. She said her generation did not experience its earlier form. She added that past songs remain iconic and widely known. She said she hopes to enjoy the experience and convey emotion to the audience.

In addition, 20 musical works will be performed during the festival nights across different genres. At the same time, artists spend months preparing for their performances.

The Spring Festival will take place on 6 and 7 June at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
