Begaj Extends Eid al-Adha Wishes: Peace, Kindness, and Prosperity for Every Albanian Family

President Bajram Begaj today congratulated Muslim believers on Eid al-Adha.

He wished Albanian families more prosperity, health, harmony, and kindness. He also highlighted the values that the holiday represents.

Begaj said Eid al-Adha reminds people of sacrifice, devotion to God, solidarity, and care for those in need.

Furthermore, he stressed that society grows stronger when people share not only joy, but also pain and responsibility for others.

In addition, Begaj said holidays such as Eid al-Adha preserve values that Albanians have protected for centuries, including faith, family, hospitality, and mutual respect.

Begaj delivered his message from Mecca, where he is staying at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Full Message from President Begaj

“Dear Muslim believers,

From Mecca, the holy city of faith and peace, on this special day of Eid al-Adha, I send you my warmest wishes for greater prosperity, health, harmony, and kindness in your families.

Eid al-Adha reminds us of sacrifice, devotion to God, solidarity with one another, and care for those most in need. Society grows stronger when people share not only joy, but also pain and responsibility for others.

Moreover, holidays such as Eid al-Adha remind us of the values we have preserved through centuries: faith, family, hospitality, and respect for one another.

I feel especially honored to celebrate this holiday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the place where millions of believers from around the world gather in prayer, humility, and peace.

Happy Eid al-Adha!

May God bring peace, kindness, and prosperity to every Albanian home!”
