Blendi Gonxhja says the TEA Awards 2026 recognize and celebrate promoters of Albanian tourism.

The National Tourism Agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, organizes the TEA Awards 2026 for the first time.

Officials base the awards on data from the TEA app (Tourism Events of Albania), which measures visitor interest in events and destinations across the country.

Gonxhja shares moments from the event on social media and highlights the contribution of all actors who promote Albania as an increasingly attractive tourist destination.

He says the TEA Awards reflect a rich calendar of activities and a wide range of cultural and social events that increase visitor numbers and strengthen the Albanian tourism brand.

Gonxhja states that the awards celebrate those who contribute daily to building Albania as an authentic and internationally recognized cultural and tourism destination.

The ceremony takes place at the Pallati i Brigadave in Tiranë.

Organizers also present new features of the TEA application, showing Albania’s modern approach to tourism promotion.

They emphasize that Albania uses culture, tradition, and creative energy to tell its story to the world.
