Luxury Cruise Le Boréal Brings 200 Tourists to Sarandë

The luxury cruise ship Le Boréal arrived on Friday at the port of Sarandë, marking its first visit to the coastal city. First, the 142-meter French-owned vessel brought around 200 international tourists to Albania’s southern coastline.

Most of the passengers, about 180 visitors, came from France, while the rest arrived from Switzerland and the United States. In addition, tourists are set to explore key cultural, historical and natural attractions in Sarandë and surrounding areas.

They will visit important sites across southern Albania and experience local heritage and coastal tourism. As a result, the arrival of Le Boréal is seen as a strong boost for local tourism.

It brings high-spending visitors interested in cultural and sustainable travel experiences.

Finally, according to its sailing schedule, the cruise ship will return to Sarandë again on June 23, confirming growing interest from international cruise operators in the destination.
