Over 400 children join “Run and Have Fun” event in Tirana

TIRANA, June 1 – More than 400 children took part in the “Run & Have Fun” sports and recreational event in Tirana. Tirana Running Club organized the activity with support from the Municipality of Tirana. The event took place at the Grand Park of the Artificial Lake. The children joined symbolic runs, games and recreational activities. The organizers turned the day into a celebration of sport, movement and outdoor entertainment.

In addition, the event carried the message “Children without screens on their day”. The organizers promoted physical activity and social interaction as a healthy alternative to excessive screen time. The activity brought together children, parents and volunteers. It created a festive atmosphere focused on active lifestyles and community participation.

Meanwhile, Tirana Running Club said it aims to make “Run & Have Fun” an annual tradition. The club said the initiative promotes sports culture and healthy living among younger generations.
