Travelpack promotes Albania with dedicated brochure, places it among Europe’s hottest destinations – Travel Week report

TIRANA, June 2 – Albania attracts growing attention in the international tourism market. Juliet Dennis reports this in “Travel Week”. Meanwhile, British operator Travelpack launches its first dedicated Albania programme. The move responds to rising demand. The company describes the country as one of Europe’s hottest tourism markets. A 32-page Albania section appears in its digital brochure “Greece & Albania”. The format follows a modern travel magazine style inspired by social media.

The brochure promotes Albania as a dedicated product for the first time. Earlier, Travelpack only offered packages for the destination. It features travel ideas such as “72 hours in Tirana” and “10 things to do in Albania”. It also includes advice and practical guidance. The offer covers city breaks, road trips, family holidays and coastal stays. Accommodation ranges from three to five stars. Focus falls on the Albanian Riviera and the Vlora region. Ksamil appears, described as the “Maldives of Europe”. Saranda, Himara and Dhërmi also feature.

Travelpack product manager Natalie Batchelor says the programme aims to boost interest in Albania. She describes the country as affordable, scenic and authentic, based on a personal visit. Albania remains in an early stage of tourism development compared with Greece. Hotels appear modern and high-end. Beach bars increasingly resemble Ibiza and Mykonos. The destination no longer sits in the emerging category, but in the most sought-after travel markets. The report cites more than 12 million visitors in 2025 and projects over 14 million in 2027. Packages start at £399 for three nights in Tirana and £799 for a week in Ksamil.
