TIRANA, June 2 – Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Blendi Gonxhja invited citizens to join a public consultation on the National Culture Strategy 2026–2030. He said the process aims to present the vision for cultural development in the coming years. The strategy will be presented on June 3.
Meanwhile, Gonxhja said the document results from a broad consultation process. He said experts, artists, institutions, organisations and cultural communities contributed to it. In addition, he said the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport leads the process. He added that the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the Fondazione Santagata support it.
The strategy defines the vision, objectives and priorities for the cultural sector for 2026–2030. At the same time, it places culture at the centre of sustainable development. It also frames culture as a driver of economic growth, social cohesion, creative industries and Albania’s European integration process.
