Ivanka Trump called the planned tourism development on Sazan Island the most ambitious project of her career and described it as “the project of a lifetime.”
Speaking on entrepreneur David Senra’s podcast, Trump discussed the project that her husband, Jared Kushner, is leading in Albania.
Trump said she discovered Sazan Island during a boat trip in the Mediterranean and immediately fell in love with its natural beauty. Since then, she and her team have worked for years to develop a vision for the island.
She stressed that the project will protect the environment and integrate architecture with nature. “The architecture should rise from the landscape and become part of it,” she said.
Moreover, Trump said the team is working with some of the world’s most respected architects and designers. She explained that they want to create a destination that combines beauty, functionality and sustainability.
The project also includes a nearby peninsula and several miles of coastline. Trump said the development will offer visitors unique experiences while preserving the area’s natural character.
Finally, she described the project as the culmination of her experience in real estate, travel and design. Trump said she hopes the Sazan development will create a lasting destination that blends world-class architecture with Albania’s extraordinary landscape.
