TIRANA, June 11 – Albania will experience relatively unstable atmospheric conditions today.
The weather will remain mostly clear with light to moderate passing cloudiness in eastern mountainous areas from midday. Later in the evening, cloud cover will increase across the north and gradually spread to the rest of the country.
Intermittent light rainfall will develop over eastern mountainous regions from midday through the late afternoon. After the afternoon hours, rain will extend to most areas, starting from the north and then spreading across the territory. Some localised short-lived thunderstorms may occur, accompanied by lightning and isolated hail.
Winds will blow from the west at an average speed of 7 meters per second. Along the coastline and in valley areas, wind speeds will temporarily reach up to 14 meters per second.
Sea conditions in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas will remain slight to moderate, with wave heights at 1 to 3 Beaufort.
