Mountain Package Inspires Diaspora Investment

The Mountain Package continues to inspire members of the Albanian diaspora to invest in their homeland.

Recently, Socialist Party Parliamentary Group Chairman Taulant Balla shared a success story on social media that highlights this growing trend.

Balla met with Albanian-Americans Saimir and Jonida Gjoka, who plan to launch an ambitious agritourism project in Rrogozhina.

Inspired by the Mountain Package, the couple aims to combine agriculture, tourism, and local traditions in a single development project.

According to Balla, the investment could become a new model for regional development. It could also boost the local economy and create new jobs.

Moreover, the project demonstrates the strong interest of diaspora communities in Albania’s economic future.

Balla emphasized that such initiatives reflect the confidence that Albanians abroad have in the country’s potential.

As a result, returning investments from the diaspora continue to send a positive signal about Albania’s long-term economic development.
