PM Rama to attend Ukraine Recovery Conference in Poland

TIRANA, June 25 – Prime Minister Edi Rama will take part in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026), which takes place on 25–26 June in Gdańsk, Poland. The event brings together heads of state and government, international financial institutions, business representatives and civil society organisations from around the world.

According to the Media and Information Agency, the conference aims to strengthen international support for Ukraine and mobilise investment for the country’s reconstruction and long-term development.

The discussions will focus on sectors most affected by Russian aggression, including energy, critical infrastructure and logistics. In addition, participants will address the strengthening of security and defence capacities, which they consider essential for the reconstruction process.

During his stay in Poland, Rama will be received by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and will attend the official opening ceremony. He will also deliver a speech during the second plenary session.

Meanwhile, he will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of participating countries, as well as with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.

At the same time, Rama will meet executives from international companies, including representatives from the energy and investment sectors. The talks will focus on strengthening economic cooperation and identifying new development opportunities.

The Ukraine Recovery Conference serves as a key international platform for coordinating political, financial and economic support for Ukraine, bringing together public and private actors to support the country’s long-term recovery and transformation.
