After more than two days off Instagram, Euronews Albania’s official account has been restored and is once again accessible to the public.
The restoration comes after extensive efforts and ongoing communication with Meta, while the issue that led to the suspension of the account continues to be under investigation by the company.
During these days, Euronews Albania received support from journalists, organizations defending media freedom and human rights, European representatives, and international partners, who called for transparency and a full clarification of the case.
We thank everyone who cooperated, responded, and helped address this situation.
The restoration of the account is a positive development, but it remains essential to clarify what led to its suspension and to ensure that reporting mechanisms on social media platforms cannot be misused to restrict the work of the media.
Euronews Albania will continue to inform the public and seek full transparency regarding this case.
