The Chair of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, today received Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, Special Envoy of United States President Donald J. Trump for Global Partnerships, at the Presidency of the Albanian Parliament.
Balla said that during the meeting, the two sides discussed the excellent relations between Albania and the United States, as well as regional and international developments related to peace and security.

Today, I welcomed Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, Special Envoy of U.S. President Donald J. Trump for Global Partnerships.
The topics of discussion were numerous and productive. Albania is an example of the role that partnerships play in promoting peace and stability. We are proud that Albania will host the NATO Summit next year, and the Ambassador also praised Albania’s membership in the Board of Peace through Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Albania is a global model of interfaith coexistence, where harmony among religious communities has always served as an important foundation for the unity and cohesion of Albanian society.
