Preparations for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Albania have entered another important phase.
Today, UEFA representatives began inspecting the stadiums that will host matches during the tournament. They started their tour at “Loro Boriçi” Stadium in Shkodër.
The delegation will then visit “Elbasan Arena” before continuing to Tirana. There, the officials will inspect the “Arena Kombëtare” and “Arena e Demave”.
During the inspections, UEFA representatives will assess the technical, infrastructure and organizational standards of all four venues. They will examine the facilities closely to ensure that the stadiums meet the requirements for EURO U21 2027.
Meanwhile, Albania and UEFA continue to work together to prepare the country for the tournament. The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) is also working to meet the highest standards and ensure a successful competition.
The EURO U21 Championship will become the biggest sporting event Albania will host in 2027. Therefore, the ongoing inspections will help the organizers identify any remaining needs and complete preparations on time.
