US Embassy: Albania to Play a Key Role in the International Stabilization Force Mission

International Stabilization Force (ISF) Commander Major General Jasper Jeffers held talks with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha and Defence Minister Ermal Nufi. The discussions focused on Albania’s future contributions to the force and its role in supporting the ISF mission.

During the meetings, the officials discussed Albania’s ongoing commitment to international security and its potential contributions to the force. They also considered the role Albania could play in strengthening the mission in the future.

The US Embassy in Tirana confirmed the meetings in a social media post. It said the discussions focused on Albania’s future contributions to the International Stabilization Force.

The embassy also highlighted Albania’s expected role in the mission.

“Albania will be an essential part of the mission,” the US Embassy said, underlining the country’s importance to the ISF and its future operations.
