Agro-tourism is becoming a key driver of economic and social growth in many regions. It increases employment and strengthens rural economies.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared scenic images of Alpeta Agro-tourism in Roshnik, Berat. He called it a successful example of sector development.
“Alpeta Agro-tourism in Roshnik, Berat, where nature and flavor unite. Every product, from fruits and vegetables to meat, comes straight from the farm,” Rama wrote.
He said such models not only promote natural beauty and culinary traditions but also support sustainable rural development.
Agro-tourism links farmers directly with consumers. It increases the value of local products, boosts incomes, and creates new jobs.
Experts note that agro-tourism holds great potential for Albania’s economy. It encourages year-round tourism, diversifies the tourist offer, and supports sustainable agriculture and rural development.
