Changes to the 2027 Fiscal Package, Rama Reacts: Government to Have Its Say Tomorrow

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to discussions surrounding the proposed changes to the 2027 fiscal package.

In a post on the social media platform X, Rama responded to criticism and debate over the new fiscal measures, indicating that the government’s position would become clear during the approval of the upcoming budget.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the new budget would exceed the €10 billion threshold for the first time, describing the package as ambitious in terms of redistributing the benefits of economic growth.

“Keep talking, keep talking about the new fiscal measures. Keep tossing your salad of hatred and ignorance with half-baked working documents, because tomorrow it will be the government’s turn to have its say with the approval of the first budget in history to exceed the €10 billion threshold and the most ambitious package for redistributing the benefits of economic growth,” Rama wrote on X.
